Pusan National University (PNU) is the top Korean flagship national university and Asia’s premier comprehensive institution of higher education and a leader in research and teaching. Course Description

Organizations are increasingly relying on data to inform key business decisions, including those related to managing human resources. The core objective of this course is to help students develop better understanding of how data can be used effectively and appropriately to draw accurate empirical conclusions that inform important business decisions, especially those related to managing human resources in organizations. In this course, students will learn about the classical and latest issues in data analytics and their implications for research and practice. Moreover, students will gain hands-on data analytics experience using simulated data that resemble those that are used in the real-world. Also, students will learn how to present key findings and make practical recommendations from those findings to a target audience who may not be as familiar with data analytics.
