Important - Read Before Applying
Before applying, please make sure you understand the following enrolment restrictions set by the course offering university:
Each student can apply and enroll in ONE academic course offered by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore at VSE Season 1, 2024-25 only.
Applicants to courses offered by NTU at VSE Season 1, 2024-25 are required to complete an additional NTU registration form immediately after submitting the VSE application. The deadline for submitting the NTU registration form is the same as the VSE application deadline.
The application procedures of the NTU registration form are as follows:
1. Visit the NTU registration form.
2. Click on the link under ‘For New Applicants’ to create an application number, and select to Apply as ‘Undergraduate Student’.
3. Complete the ‘Online Application for Admission’. Please take note of the following:
Home University Section
• ‘Student Category’: Please select ‘Virtual Exchange’
• ‘Home University’: Please select your home university name.
Mode of Study Section
• ‘Mode, area and duration of study’: Please select ‘Course work’
• ‘Acad Year’ and ‘Semester’: Please select ‘2024/2025’ and ‘1 (Aug-Dec)’’.
• Enter the course code of the virtual course that you have selected. Note that you are only able to enrol in one NTU virtual course.
Application Deadline
Students must submit an application to the VSE Central Office before:

Academic Requirements
Before applying, please make sure you have fulfilled the course offering university's academic requirements listed below:
- CGPA 3.5 or above (out of 5.0)
- Enrolment is restricted to undergraduate students only.

Course Description | HY0001 will introduce students to three major ethical theories' utilitarianism, Kant's deontology, and virtue ethics. Then, four weeks will be devoted to teaching the ethical principles underlying academic integrity, research ethics, and intellectual property. Finally, students will discuss issues related to the ethics of environmental sustainability and conservation. All the while, students will be challenged to apply the ethical theories learned to concrete moral problems, including world poverty, corporate accountability and whistleblowing, and workplace discrimination. | ||
