Thanks for joining the APRU Virtual Student Exchange program! To further improve the VSE for you and future participants, please tell us your VSE experience in VSE Season 2 2022-23, Season 3 2022-23 and Season 1 2023-24 through this VSE Student Experience Questionnaire.

• The VSE Student Experience Questionnaire (“the questionnaire”) is organized by the VSE Central Office at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
• Responses collected in the questionnaire will be used for preparing statistics to improve the VSE program, and for marketing materials if deemed necessary. No personal detail will be revealed.
• Participation in the questionnaire is not mandatory.
• The questionnaire is open to participants of the VSE Seasons listed below. Students whose applications were approved/not endorsed/not approved/withdrawn (before and after enrolment) are all eligible.

  • Season 3, 2022-23
  • Season 1, 2023-24
• There are no direct risks and benefits associated with participating in the questionnaire.
• The questionnaire can be completed anonymously. However, respondents of the questionnaire (“the respondent”) are required to provide their contact information in the situations below:
• To receive the gift for the first 50 respondents who have completed Section A-C of the questionnaire in full. (“the Gift”)
• To receive the prize for the Most Outstanding VSE Reflection Entries and Videos. (“the Prize”)
• To give consent to the VSE Central Office for more feedback on their VSE experience.

• The respondent must fulfil all of the following conditions to be eligible to receive a US$10 Amazon E-Gift Card (“the Gift”):
• Is an eligible participant of the questionnaire;
• Completed Section A-C of the questionnaire in full;
• Indicated intention in Q45 of the questionnaire;
• Provided contact information in Q46 of the questionnaire (which will be also used to verify the respondent’s participation in the VSE program); and
• Submitted the questionnaire before 12:00 noon Hong Kong time (UTC+8) on March 29, 2024.
• The first 50 eligible respondents will each receive a US$10 Amazon E-Gift Card (“the Gift”) based on the submission time recorded in the questionnaire.

• The respondent must fulfil all of the following conditions to be eligible to receive a US$50 Amazon E-Gift Card (“the Prize”):
• Is an eligible participant of the questionnaire;
• Completed Section A-C of the questionnaire in full;
• Submitted a reflection entry in 200 words to share the experience participating the VSE program in Q43 of the questionnaire
• Indicated intention in Q42 of the questionnaire;
• Provided contact information in Q44 of the questionnaire (which will be also used to verify the respondent’s participation in the VSE program); and
• Submitted the questionnaire before 12:00 noon Hong Kong time (UTC+8) on March 29, 2024.
• Reflection entries submitted through the questionnaire will be reviewed by a panel of reviewers appointed by the VSE Central Office. Up to five (5) respondents will be selected to each receive a US$50 Amazon E-Gift Card (“the Prize”) for their Most Outstanding VSE Reflection Entries.
• Results of the Most Outstanding VSE Reflection Entries will be posted on this webpage in due course. The VSE Central Office will contact the winning respondents through the email address as indicated in the questionnaire.
• Reflection entries may be published on VSE website, social media, email newsletters and other promotional channels.

• The respondent must fulfil all of the following conditions to be eligible to receive a US$100 Amazon E-Gift Card (“the Prize”):
• Is an eligible participant of the questionnaire;
• Completed Section A-C of the questionnaire in full;
• Indicated intention in Q42 of the questionnaire;
• Shared the experience participating the VSE program in a 30-second video and provided a download link of the video in Q43 of the questionnaire
• Provided contact information in Q44 of the questionnaire (which will be also used to verify the respondent’s participation in the VSE program); and
• Submitted the questionnaire before 12:00 noon Hong Kong time (UTC+8) on March 29, 2024.
• Reflection videos submitted through the questionnaire will be reviewed by a panel of reviewers appointed by the VSE Central Office. Up to three (3) respondents will be selected to each receive a US$100 Amazon E-Gift Card (“the Prize”) for their Most Outstanding VSE Reflection Videos.
• Results of the Most Outstanding VSE Reflection Videos will be posted on this webpage in due course. The VSE Central Office will contact the winning respondents through the email address as indicated in the questionnaire.
• Reflection videos may be published on VSE website, social media, email newsletters and other promotional channels.

• Each eligible/winning respondent can receive the Gift or the Prize for once only, i.e., an Amazon E-gift Card of US$10/$50/$100 (“the E-gift Card”).
• The VSE Central Office will contact eligible/winning respondents for their email addresses to receive the E-gift Card.
• The E-gift Card can be redeemed by clicking the redemption link, or through the redemption code in the message. An Amazon.com account is required to redeem the E-gift Card.
• The E-gift Card can only be used to purchase eligible goods and services on Amazon.com. The E-gift Card cannot be used on other Amazon sites, including and not limited to Amazon.ca, Amazon.cn, Amazon.fr, Amazon.de, Amazon.in, Amazon.it, Amazon.co.jp, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.es, and Amazon.com.au.
• The VSE Central Office is not the manufacturer/supplier of the E-gift Card. The VSE Central Office will not be responsible or liable for any consequence relating to the quality supply, delivery and the use of the E-gift Card. The use of the E-gift Card is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the supplier. The VSE Central Office shall not be responsible or liable in any way whatsoever in relation to the E-gift Card (including but not limited to the quality, supply, delivery and the use of the gift). The VSE Central Office will also not be responsible or liable for loss or damage directly or indirectly resulting from any use or misuse of the E-gift Card.
• The VSE Central Office will not be responsible for practical and technical support of the E-gift Card.
• In case of dispute, the VSE Central Office shall have the absolute right of final decision.
