All respondents of the questionnaire could receive an APRU branded charging cable set or gifts from the Hong Kong Tourism Board!

Thank you for all of your submissions of the most outstanding VSE reflective entries! The submissions are now closed and the VSE Central Office will contact the winners shortly for the prize collection.

• The VSE Student Experience Questionnaire (“the questionnaire”) is organized by the VSE Central Office at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
• Responses collected in the questionnaire will be used for preparing statistics to improve the VSE program, and for marketing materials if deemed necessary. No personal detail will be revealed.
• Participation in the questionnaire is not mandatory.
• The questionnaire is open to current or past participants of the VSE Seasons listed below. Students whose applications were not endorsed/not approved/withdrawn (before and after enrolment) are all eligible.

• There are no direct risks and benefits associated with participating in the questionnaire.
• The questionnaire can be completed anonymously. However, respondents of the questionnaire (“the respondent”) are required to provide their contact information in the situations below:
• To receive the gift from APRU/ Hong Kong Tourism Board. (“the gift”)
• To receive the prize for the Most Outstanding VSE Reflective Entry. (“the prize”)
• To give consent to the VSE Central Office for more feedback on their VSE experience.

• If the respondent wishes to receive an APRU branded charging cable set or gifts from the Hong Kong Tourism Board (“the gift”), they should indicate their intention in Q45 of the questionnaire.
• The respondent must be an eligible participant of the questionnaire in order to receive the gift. The contact information provided in Q46 of the questionnaire will be used to verify the respondent’s participation in the VSE program.
• The respondent must complete and submit the questionnaire before 12:00 noon Hong Kong time (UTC+8) on January 20, 2023 to be eligible to receive the gift. Respondents who have submitted their questionnaire after the deadline will not be eligible to enter. [Note: The submission deadline is extended from 12:00 noon on January 13, 2023 (UTC+8) to 12:00 noon on January 20, 2023 (UTC+8).]
• The gift will be sent to eligible respondents by regular mail (surface/airmail) after the conclusion of the survey period. The gift will be sent from Hong Kong and delivery time to the mailing address provided varies. If the gift cannot be delivered/received successfully due to any issues, including but not limited to incorrect/incomplete mailing address, it will not be resent. Respondents should provide a correct address, postal code (if applicable) and recipient name for delivery.
• Eligible respondents would either receive the APRU branded charging cable set, or gifts from the Hong Kong Tourism Board. Distribution of the gift is random and selection is not possible.
• The VSE Central Office is not the manufacturer/supplier of the gifts. The VSE Central Office will not be responsible or liable for any consequence relating to the quality supply, delivery and the use of the gifts. The use of the gift is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the supplier. The VSE Central Office shall not be responsible or liable in any way whatsoever in relation to the gifts (including but not limited to the quality, supply, delivery and the use of the gifts). The VSE Central Office will also not be responsible or liable for loss or damage directly or indirectly resulting from any use or misuse of the gifts.
• The VSE Central Office will not be responsible for practical and technical support of the gifts.
• In case of dispute, the VSE Central Office shall have the absolute right of final decision.

• If the respondent wishes to win the prize for the most outstanding VSE reflection, they should indicate their intention in Q42 of the questionnaire.
• The respondent must be an eligible participant of the questionnaire in order to receive the prize. The contact information provided in Q44 of the questionnaire will be used to verify the respondent’s participation in the VSE program.
• The respondent must complete and submit the questionnaire before 12:00 noon Hong Kong time (UTC+8) on January 13, 2023 to be eligible to win the prize. Respondents who have submitted their questionnaire after 12:00 noon on January 13, 2023 will not be eligible to enter.
• A total of five (5) Amazon Gift Cards (“gift cards”) with US$100 stored value in each gift card will be given out to the most outstanding VSE reflection. Each eligible respondent can win one gift card for once only.
• Reflective entries submitted through the questionnaire will be reviewed by a panel of reviewers appointed by the VSE Central Office. The reflective entries may be published on VSE website, social media, email newsletters and other promotional channels.
• The gift card can only be used to purchase eligible goods and services on Amazon.com. The gift cards cannot be used on other Amazon sites, including and not limited to Amazon.ca, Amazon.cn, Amazon.fr, Amazon.de, Amazon.in, Amazon.it, Amazon.co.jp, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.es, and Amazon.com.au.
• The gift card will be delivered electronically to the winning respondent’s email address as indicated in the questionnaire. The gift card can be redeemed by clicking the redemption link, or through the redemption code in the message. An Amazon.com account is required to redeem the gift card.
• Results of the most outstanding VSE reflective entry will be posted on this webpage in due course. The VSE Central Office will contact the winning respondents through the email address as indicated in the questionnaire.
• The VSE Central Office is not the manufacturer/supplier of the prizes. The VSE Central Office will not be responsible or liable for any consequence relating to the quality supply, delivery and the use of the prizes. The use of the prize is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the supplier. The VSE Central Office shall not be responsible or liable in any way whatsoever in relation to the prizes (including but not limited to the quality, supply, delivery and the use of the prizes). The VSE Central Office will also not be responsible or liable for loss or damage directly or indirectly resulting from any use or misuse of the prizes.
