VSE Season 1, 2021-22
VSE Seasons
A new Seasons system has been introduced to the VSE program to maximize opportunities for students to enroll in courses offered by different universities. Under the new system, academic courses offered at the VSE are put into different Seasons based on their course starting dates.
Each VSE academic year would begin in September, and end in August of the following year. There are three seasons in each VSE academic year:
Season 1: for courses starting from September 1 to December 31
Season 2: for courses starting from January 1 to April 30
Season 3: for courses starting from May 1 to August 31
To facilitate the transition to the new system, Season 1, 2021-22 will include regular-term courses offered by participating universities that start from July 1 to December 31 2021.

We encourage you to save one of your two course quotas for a course that is offered later into the Season.
Course enrolment is subject to final approval from your home university and the course offering university.
Credits and Transcripts
Most academic courses offered through VSE are credit bearing. Academic credits, if available, will be provided by the course offering universities. Credits earned from VSE academic courses may be transferred back to the home university, subject to approval from your home university.
For credit-bearing courses, your course offering university may send your transcript to your home university and/or you directly. Certificates of participation or Pass/Fail Certificates are available for most non-credit bearing courses.
